Faga brings a wealth of experience and expertise that will be invaluable to our college community. With over 25 years in the New Zealand Police, including serving as Pacific Responsiveness Manager for Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), Faga has developed deep expertise in building strong community relationships and delivering culturally responsive approaches that genuinely meet the needs of diverse communities. Faga’s extensive experience in health and safety, including managing large-scale police operations such as major events at Eden Park, will be particularly valuable as we continue to develop our emergency response planning and safety procedures. His pastoral insights and deep understanding of community needs will bring important perspectives to the Board’s work in supporting the wellbeing of all our students.
